ESCANABA -- Defendants were recently sentenced in Delta County Circuit Court. They include:

Brett Joseph Benson, of 1329 Stephenson Ave., Escanaba, pleaded guilty to attempted controlled substance – possession of methamphetamine/ecstasy. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for two days served, assessed fines, costs and fees of $1,733, placed on probation for 12 months.

Buddy John Blahnik, of 230 Ogden Ave., Escanaba, pleaded guilty to two counts of operating while intoxicated – occupants less than 16. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for six days served, assessed fines and costs of $100.

Colin Christopher Fredrickson, of 10177th Ave. S., Escanaba, pleaded no contest to motor vehicle – unlawful driving away. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit for 10 days served.

Felicity Christine-Eileen Stevenson, of 416 S. 11th St., Escanaba, pleaded guilty to controlled substance – possession of methamphetamine/ecstasy and controlled substance – possession/analogues. She was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for 30 days served, assessed fines, costs and fees of $816, placed on probation for 24 months, and ordered to complete sobriety court.

Kevin Michael Weissert, of 412 S. 8th St., Escanaba, pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted controlled substance – delivery/manufacture – methamphetamine. He was sentenced to 22 days in jail with credit for 22 days served, assessed fines, costs and fees of $996, and placed on probation for 18 months.
