ESCANABA — OSF HealthCare hosted an open house and blessing for a new outpatient clinic, OSF Cardiovascular Care with Bellin Health. The blessing took place August 9 at the OSF Medical Group-Escanaba and was led by Fr. Tim Ferguson.

Earlier this year, OSF St. Francis Hospital & Medical Group entered an exclusive agreement with Bellin Health to expand cardiovascular services in Delta County. The new partnership supports OSF HealthCare’s ongoing commitment to providing high quality care and an exceptional patient experience while improving access and availability of cardiovascular services in the area. The Bellin cardiovascular team will support the evaluation and management of a full spectrum of ambulatory cardiovascular conditions. Starting August 21, they will see patients five days a week in Suite 206 of the OSF HealthCare Medical Office Building.

The second phase of this project is the construction of a cardiac catheterization lab which will open in the spring of 2024. It will be housed inside OSF St. Francis Hospital and led by the Bellin cardiovascular team. The cardiac cath lab will provide patients with an even greater continuity of care by increasing access to testing and procedures while reducing the need to travel as well as long wait periods for appointments.
