HARRIS — The Players de Noc will perform Wendy and Wendell’s Wonderful Wacky WASP Wedding at a dinner theatre event at the Island Resort & Casino on Thursday, August 10.

The cast has been working hard to bring this one-of-a-kind comedy to life for U.P. theater-goers. The cast is comprised of Nicole Rossell, McKenna Christian, Bennett Carpenter, Linda Carpenter, Pat Feldhusen, Jesse Traub, Annie Page, Stephanie M. Gauthier, Mariah Lee, Tim Haagensen, Cindy Bender, Paulette Pepin, Madeline Way, Dallen Carpenter, Kelly Pepin, Joe Russo, Kathy Feldhusen and Suzy Johnson.

It’s time to put on your wedding best, or maybe some tie-dye, and attend the hand-fasting of Wendy and Wendell. These two crazy kids fell in love and got married, despite how vastly different their families are. After yesterday’s Episcopal wedding, they are now participating in a Wiccan ritual with all the bells and whistles, or at least some of them. They have already bought the goat!

Their families are comprised of an overbearing mother, a father losing what’s left of his marbles, a granny high on more than just life, a mother insistent that traditions be followed, and yet another mother who just wants her little girl to be happy, despite the fact that she is marring a man. And that’s not even half of the family that will be in attendance!
