Basics to Browsing classes at the library.

STEPHENSON — The Menominee County Library continues their program called “Basics to Browsing”. The library will be providing free workshops and scheduling one-on-one tech help. Call the library at 906-352-4111 to sign up for a workshop or to schedule one-on-one time. Any questions, ask for Heather.

June Classes and Locations:

Thursday, June 8 at 10 a.m., Internet Basics – Main Library in Stephenson

Tuesday, June 13 at 10 a.m., Mouse & Keyboard Basics – Main Library in Stephenson

Tuesday, June 20 at 10 a.m., File Management Basics – Main Library in Stephenson

Wednesday, June 21 at 10 a.m., Computer, Mouse, & Internet Basics – Hermansville Branch Library

Tuesday, June 27 at 10 a.m., Internet Basics – Main Library in Stephenson

Additional workshops will be available monthly.

Funding for this program is provided in part by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Library of Michigan and by through a grant from the Public Library Association (PLA) to conduct digital literacy workshops using Digitallearn.org resources. The PLA Digital Literacy Workshop Incentive, supported by AT&T, provides support to libraries of all sizes to conduct digital literacy training in their communities and help close the digital divide.
