Library hosting Healthy Habits Series

ESCANABA -- It's not always easy starting and maintaining healthy habits that contribute to a healthy lifestyle. Join MSU Extension's Community Nutrition instructor, Amber Hayward, MPH, EP-C, who will present healthy habits that can lead to a lifetime of good health and nutrition.

This four-part MSU series will begin on Tuesday, May 23 with Physical Activity: the benefits and ways to be active and have fun at home without any equipment. It will be followed by Wednesday, June 28, Food Budgeting & Meal Planning: eat healthy and save money on your food

budget by planning and learn to cook once, eat twice. On Wednesday, July 26, Feeding a Picky Eater: turn your picky eaters into adventurous diners and learn new tips and tricks for making small changes for big results and Wednesday, August 23, Fruits & Veggies: Learn about the rainbow of fruits and vegetables and the impact they have on your health.
