ESCANABA -- Escanaba's newly-formed classical music ensemble, Esky Baroque, is holding its first concert on Tuesday, May 9 at 7 p.m. at St. Joseph & St. Patrick Parish, 709 1st Avenue South in Escanaba. The performance will feature an evening of beautiful music by Telemann, Gibbons, Purcell, Corelli, Handel and Bach, with strings, recorders, voices and harpsichord. No charge is made for admission; those who wish are welcome to make a freewill offering at the door, which will assist with expenses for future concerts.
