Community bereavement program set

ESCANABA — UP Health System Hospice is launching a community bereavement program to assist those in need. They will be holding in person support groups at Bay College in Room JHUC 911 at 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Thursday, May 18.

“We know what grief can go unrecognized and we want to make sure our community has the resources to address, identify and express stressors related to loss and the opportunity for self-expression.

You may be dealing with loneliness, depression, and some other aspects of grief of which you may need support or encouragement. It is our desire to aid with these aspects,” officials said in a press release.
