Beaver Area 4-H Club held a fundraiser for the Dream Weaver Children's Museum this week and raised $1,000 for the museum. The club raised $750 through a flower fundraiser with Seven Acre Garden and Gifts in Escanaba, and received a donation from Leigh's Garden Winery to help them reach their goal of $1,000. Pictured are the Beaver Area 4-H Club leaders and members, staff from Seven Acre Garden & Gifts and Dream Weaver Children's Museum committee members.The Beaver Area 4-H Club is open to area youth age 4-19, 4-H is a community of young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills. 4-H provides fun, educational opportunities that empower young people with skills to lead for a lifetime and become the foundation for future success. This diverse club meets monthly offering a range of topics and interest areas, ranging from science and technology to clothing and textiles, as well as completing various community service projects.
