Bay Sages plan December 8 meeting

ESCANABA — The Bay Sages will gather for their regular monthly meeting on Thursday, December 8, at 10 a.m at the Joseph Heirman University Center at Bay de Noc Community College.

The Bay Sages is an organization established to provide educational opportunities for older adults residing in the Delta County area. Dues are $20 for the year and include monthly newsletters, coffee and rolls at regular meetings and a wide variety of educational opportunities for members. Guests and new members are welcome. Dues are payable at the meeting or can be mailed to the Bay Sages at Bay College.

The program for December will feature Ray and Maggie Miller with a travelogue on their four-week Mediterranean Sea aboard the Viking Sky. Their travels took them through 10 countries from Spain to Turkey and covered 6,000 years of human history from the Minoans in Crete to the high rollers in Monte Carlo. The meeting will also feature music by George and Marie Peterson, as well as a luncheon for those with a reservation.

Upcoming programs will include January 12 meeting, Roy Dahlgren on Trapping in the U.P., February 2 featuring Bay College Community Library, TRIO/STEM programs; March 2 Players de Noc Cemetery Walk.
