ESCANABA — OSF Home Care Services is looking for hospice volunteers to provide patient and family support. Volunteers work directly with terminally ill persons and their caregivers to provide emotional support. This support comes in a variety of ways through companionship and listening as well as offering a break to family members and assisting the hospice team in identifying additional needs. There are also opportunities for volunteers to provide office support or program support through community outreach that do not involve direct patient contact.
