ESCANABA — The holiday bake sale at the Delta County Historical Society Museum at Sand Point is scheduled for Saturday, December 3, in the multi-purpose room. Donations of cookies, bread, cakes, candy, and other holiday treats are welcome beginning at 8 a.m. The bake sale opens to patrons at 9 a.m. and usually sells out by noon.

Baked goods will include Finnish, Norwegian, Italian and German Christmas specialties, as well as decorated cookies, fresh breads, coffee cakes and more.

Patrons and donors are invited to tour the museum without charge during sale hours.

Sand Point Lighthouse sweatshirts and t-shirts and ornaments and maple syrup, chocolates and other stocking stuffers will be for sale in the museum during bake sale hours. The Sand Point Lighthouse ornaments will be available at Nyman Jewelers in Escanaba from December 5 until Christmas.
