Cameron second graders help Steam Engine #730
Mrs.Creten’s second grade class at Gladstone’s Cameron School helped with the upcoming four-person Golf Scramble and Dinner Fundraiser to benefit the restoration of Steam Engine #730. The students designed their own steam engines and drawings to put on the prize buckets at the event on Sunday, September 18. Dinner will be served at 4 p.m. at the Gladstone Golf Course. Because of the community’s tremendous support we can continue to paint and clean and protect this Delta County landmark for them and future generations, organizers said.
