ESCANABA — The Bay de Noc Choral Society is beginning rehearsals for its annual Christmas concert to be held Sunday, December 4 at 1:30 p.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church in Escanaba. The chorale, directed by Ann Wood and accompanied by John Ignatowski, begins rehearsals Tuesday, September 13 at 7 p.m. at Bethany Lutheran and meets each Tuesday for two hours. The chorale sings four-part music and all voice parts are needed, bass, tenor, alto and soprano. There are no auditions and newcomers are encouraged to join. The theme for the concert is Joy to the World and voices will be joined with piano, handbells, organ, brass, strings and more. For more information, contact Mike at 241-7731.
