ESCANABA -- The Stapletons will perform a free harp and guitar concert on July 16 at the Escanaba Public Library. Their performance features harp, 12 string, and acoustic guitar and their songs include sea shanties, songs of the Great Lakes and the timber industry, and original material. The duo are traveling with their instruments and five children in a converted 40-foot school bus as they trace the coastline of Great Lakes on an 2,800 mile Inner Seas concert tour. They will also be accompanied by filmmaker Martin Jernberg, who will be shooting footage to create a documentary of their travels.
The concert for all ages will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, at the Escanaba Public Library, 400 Ludington St, Escanaba.
