ESCANABA -- The Delta County League of Women Voters will be gathering petition signatures for Promote the Vote 2022 at two events this week:
– Friday, June 17 at the Unitarian Universalist Rummage Sale from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Bonifas Arts Center, 700 1st Ave S.
– Saturday, June 18 at the Escanaba Farmers Market from 9 a.m. to noon at 1501 Ludington Street.
The League of Women Voters of Michigan is a partner in support of Promote the Vote 2022, a Citizen-initiated ballot proposal to amend the Michigan Constitution to improve both election security and access to voting.
