GLADSTONE — The Gladstone Lions Club will hold its annual Spring Social and Fundraiser on Saturday, April 23. The newly formed Bay de Noc Lions have joined the Gladstone Lions in helping with this fundraiser. The event will be held at the Terrace Bluff Country Club with music provided by the Jam Band.
Tickets will be available at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased at Jim’s Music and Teaching Center in Escanaba, Northern Insurance locations in Gladstone and Escanaba, Northern Lights YMCA in Escanaba, and Upper Peninsula State Bank in Gladstone. Those purchasing advance tickets will be entered into a drawing for prizes at the event. With the 50/50 raffles, silent auction, and card raffles, there will be something for everybody both men and women. Among the prizes is a stainless Colt Python 357.
This local event will focus on supporting families in the community with the proceeds going to the Northern Lights YMCA Strong Kids program.
Doors open at 7 p.m. with the Jam Band beginning at 8 p.m. For more information on this event or about joining either of these groups, contact Bill Sjoquist at 906-280-3740.
