ESCANABA -- The Friends of the Escanaba Public Library has rescheduled the "Bag Book Sale and Pop-Up Shop" to Saturday, January 8 from 9 a.m. to noon at the library.
Gift quality "new" books will be available for purchase for $1 each, or 12 for $10. Shoppers can also fill a bag of used books in exchange for a donation to the Friends. Accepted payment is cash or check only. All proceeds benefit the library.
Please note, library services will not be available during this special event. Saturday library hours will resume on January 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Friends of the Escanaba Public Library is an active non-profit organization whose members volunteer their time to support the work of the library. The Friends board meets once a month.
