ESCANABA --The Bay Sages will meet for its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, February 3, at 10 a.m. at Bay de Noc Community College Besse Center Theater. The program will feature Rob LaMarche, Escanaba Public Safety director, on the history of combining the police and fire units to form the Public Safety Department. He will also touch on recruiting, training of all personnel, yearly budget and other topics of interest.
The Bay Sages is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational programs for older adults in the Delta County area. Dues are $20 for the year and include monthly newsletters, coffee and rolls at regular meetings and a wide variety of educational opportunities for members. Guests and new members are welcome.
Dues are payable at the meeting or can be mailed to the Bay Sages Office at Bay College.
Refreshments will be provided prior to the meeting in the Besse Center lobby. Please be advised that masks covering your mouth and nose are required for everyone on the campus, regardless of vaccine status.
