MANISTIQUE — A food safety class will be offered by Michigan State University Extension on Oct. 19 from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 319 Walnut St, Manistique,. The one day training uses the ServSafe 7th Edition Manager curriculum. An exam is administered at the end of the course. Attendance at the training is required. Instructor is Stephanie Ostrenga Sprague, MPH – MSU Extension food safety educator. The class is for staff who work at: restaurants – institutional settings like school cafeterias.
