ESCANABA -- Area veterans are invited to attend a picnic lunch in honor and remembrance of those who died and those who saved throughout the tragedies of 911.
They will also honor and remember those who are serving the country and those who have served.
The event will be held rain or shine on Friday, September 10, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Ludington Park pavilion. A moment of silence will be observed at 11:15 a.m.
