ESCANABA -- The summer series "Live on the Lawn" continues on Thursdays at 1 p.m. throughout the month of
August at the Escanaba Public Library. With a variety of offerings, the library is encouraging the community to come out each week and enjoy the lawn and memorial garden on the library grounds at 400 Ludington Street.
Events include: August 5 - Beginning Ballroom Dance with instructor Nicole Nelson; August 12 – nationally-acclaimed jazz singer and recording artist Kirsten Gustafson; August 19 - Tai Chi for Beginners with instructor Peggy Smith Gauger; and August 26 - Canterbury Tales book discussion (topic TBD). Events will be held indoors in case of inclement weather.
