Forestland workshops are canceled
ESCANABA — The Delta Conservation District is canceling for the second time three informational/educational forestland workshops that were scheduled for May. The workshops were scheduled: May 5 – “Forestland Technical Assistance & Financial Assistance”; May 6 – “Baiting vs Alternative Plantings”; and May 12 – “Timber Sales”. They would have been held at the new Chamber of Commerce Building in Escanaba. With these sessions being indoors and the increase in positive COVID cases in Delta County the District feels it is the responsible thing to do at this time.
