Writing contest winners named

The GFWC Manistique Women’s Club sponsors a short story writing contest each year for sixth graders in the Manistique Area Schools. Stores can be of any genre but must be less than 2,000 words. The first place winner will be entered in the GFWC state competition. The winners, receiving their prizes, this year are pictured, from left, Kaylynn ‚My Crazy Night‚ 3rd place , Addie The Contest‚ 1st place, and Ashlyn ‚ We Will Act‚ 2nd place.
