The Wells Lions Auxiliary recently donated toys to Toys for Tots to make the Christmas of local children in need brighter. The organization raises funds through its partnership with the Wells Lions Men’s Club. They help in their food trailer during the fair, the Logging Congress, Beer Fest and other events. The ladies club also cleans the men’s trailer and oversee the distribution of the Lions Mints seen in many local businesses through the Escanaba and Wells area. The women also provide generous support through their own generosity.
