Homeless shelter volunteer training

ESCANABA — Hope at the Inn, Delta County’s rotating homeless shelter, is due to open on Nov. 29. Volunteers are greatly needed to help staff the three nightly shifts: 5:30 – 10:30 p.m., 10:30 p.m. – 3 a.m., and 3 – 8 a.m.

There are new policies and procedures in place to keep everyone COVID-safe. There will be a volunteer training on Tuesday, Nov. 24, at 5:30 p.m. at The Salvation Army, 3001 5th Ave. S., Escanaba. Training takes one and a half hours. For more information, call Lisa at 420-1311.
