Women of Steel Strike for Hunger

The USW Local 2-21 Women of Steel will once again be hosting the Strike for Hunger. The event will be held at Elmer’s County Market and Pat’s Foods of Gladstone. The event will start on Thursday, Oct. 1, and end on Saturday, Oct. 3. Donations of canned goods, personal hygiene products, paper products or monetary donations will be accepted. All donations will be delivered to local food pantries to help those in need. For more information or to volunteer contact Women of Steel Coordinator, Donna Dams at 906-282-3430.
