EMP supports 4-H youth programs

ESCANABA — EMP continues its financial support of Delta County 4-H youth programs. For over 25 years, EMP employees have helped raise funds for 4-H by purchasing a hog and steer at the U.P. State Fair Livestock Auction. At this year’s Lori Branstrom Memorial Livestock Expo, the company purchased a steer from Abigail Bollon, and a hog from Madison O’Driscoll. In addition to the company’s livestock purchase of a steer and hog, EMP employees raised an additional $2,190 in direct support of the 4-H Youth Program.

In accepting EMP’s financial donation, Dave Radloff, MSU Extension/Delta County 4-H Youth Director, stated “We’re very appreciative of EMP and their employees for their community involvement and ongoing support of our 4-H initiatives. Once again, EMP’s generosity continues to help us maintain and grow our 4-H programs.”
