ESCANABA — The following individuals were recently sentenced in Delta County Circuit Court on unrelated charges.

Shannon Dee Stevenson, 43, of 1210 Montana Ave., Gladstone, pleaded guilty to a count of controlled substance — possession/analogues, second offense; a count of operating while intoxicated; and a count of controlled substance — possession (cocaine, heroin or another narcotic), less than 25 grams, second offense. She received concurrent sentences of a minimum of 18 months and a maximum of four years in prison on the first count, 93 days jail on the second count, and a minimum of 18 months and a maximum of four years in prison on the third count, and was given credit for 16 days served. Stevenson was ordered to pay $316 in fines and costs.

David Brandon Abruzzo, 43, of 8115 Squaw Creek 18th Rd., Rapid River, pleaded guilty to a count of attempted operating while intoxicated — third offense. He was sentenced to seven months jail and given credit for two days served. Abruzzo was placed on probation for 12 months. His driver license was revoked, and he was ordered to pay $1,268 in fines and costs.

Mark John Melchert, 55, of 8300 25.3 Lane, Rapid River, pleaded guilty to a count of operating while intoxicated — third offense. He was sentenced to 11 months jail and was given credit for nine days served. Melchert was placed on probation for 24 months. His driver license was revoked, and he was ordered to pay $2,068 in fines and costs.

Nicklas Blake Wyckoff, 19, of 2800 College Ave., Escanaba (care of Delta County Correctional Facility), pleaded no contest to a count of police officer — assaulting /resisting

/obstructing and guilty to a count of operating with a high BAC. He received concurrent sentences of 12 months jail on the first count and 180 days jail on the second count, and was given credit for 285 days served on the first count and 180 days served on the second count. The sentences will also be served concurrently to a sentence for attempted jails — possession of weapon in. Wyckoff’s driver license was suspended for 45 days and restricted for 320 days, and he was ordered to pay $908 in fines and costs.

Nicklas Blake Wyckoff, 19, of 2800 College Ave., Escanaba (care of Delta County Correctional Facility), pleaded guilty to a count of attempted jails — possession of weapon in. He was sentenced to 12 months jail and given credit for 224 days served. The sentence will be served concurrently to sentences for police officer — assaulting/resisting/obstructing and operating with a high BAC. Wyckoff was ordered to pay $198 in fines and costs.
