ESCANABA — The following individuals were recently sentenced in Delta County Circuit Court in unrelated cases.
Shannon Dee Stevenson, 43, of 1210 Montana Ave., Gladstone, pleaded guilty to a count of controlled substance – possession/analogues – second offense, a count of operating while intoxicated, and a count of controlled substance – possession (cocaine, heroin or another narcotic) less than 25 grams – second offense. She was sentenced to a minimum of 18 months and a maximum of four years in prison on the first count, 93 days jail on the second count, and a minimum of 18 months and a maximum of eight years on the third count; the sentences will be served concurrently. Stevenson was given credit for 16 days served and ordered to pay $316 in fines and costs.
Eric Allan Green, 44, of 402 Payne St., Ontonagon, pleaded guilty to two counts of jails – prisoner possessing contraband and a count of controlled substance – possession analogues. He was sentenced to 12 months jail on the first count and three months jail on the other two; the sentences will be served concurrently, and he was given credit for one day served. Green was placed on probation for 24 months on the second count; the first six months of the first sentence will be served immediately and the last six months will be held in abeyance until the successful completion of probation. His driver license was suspended for 30 days and restricted for 150 days, and he was ordered to pay $1,764 in fines and costs.
Robert Edward Hildebrant, 34, of 2006 15th Ave. N., Apt. 1, Escanaba, pleaded guilty to a count of attempted sex offenders – failure to comply with registration act. He was sentenced to 45 days jail and given credit for two days served; he was also placed on probation for 12 months, and the remaining 43 days of his sentence were suspended until the successful completion of probation. Hildebrant was ordered to pay $1,268 in fines and costs.
Stacey Marie Osby, 29, of 301 S. 18th St., Escanaba, pleaded guilty to a count of controlled substance – possession of meth/ecstasy. She was sentenced to 223 days jail and given credit for 223 days served. Osby was placed on probation for 24 months and required to successfully complete drug/sobriety court and its requirements, including a $750 program fee. Her license was also suspended for 30 days and restricted for 150 days, and she was ordered to pay $1,088 in fines and costs.
Brandy Jo Dehaan, 40, of 405 S. 10th St., Escanaba, pleaded no contest to a count of police officer – assaulting/resisting/obstructing. She was sentenced to four months jail and given credit for four days served. Dehaan was placed on probation for 24 months and ordered to pay $1,568 in fines and costs.
Cheryl Elizabeth Sagataw, 28, of W368 N. 38th Rd., Wilson, Mich., pleaded guilty to a count of controlled substance – possession of meth/ecstasy. She was sentenced to nine months jail and given credit for 220 days served. Sagataw was placed on probation for 18 months; she was ordered to serve 220 days immediately, with the remaining jail time held in abeyance until the end of her probation term or as ordered by the court. Her driver license was suspended for 30 days and restricted for 150 days, and she was ordered to pay $1,448 in fines and costs.
