Youth injured in ORV crash

BRAMPTON TOWNSHIP — A teenage boy was airlifted to UP Health System – Marquette after being involved in an ORV accident in Brampton Township Sunday.

According to Michigan State Police – Gladstone Post, the accident was reported at 12:35 p.m. on Sunday, April 26. The youth driving the ORV apparently lost control and was ejected from the vehicle.

The driver was flown to Marquette for possible head and neck injuries. As he is a minor, his name was not released by police.

The Gladstone Post was assisted at the scene by Gladstone Public Safety, Delta County Sheriff’s Office, Delta County Search & Rescue, Gladstone Fire Department, conservation officers from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, Rampart EMS, and Valley Med Flight.
