Only flush toilet paper down your toilet
ESCANABA — Due to the fact that toilet paper is in high demand in the area, the Escanaba Water Department reminds residents to only flush toilet paper down the toilet.
“Just because other paper products seem similar to toilet paper, it does not mean the paper will break down and dissolves once flushed. Save yourself from needless headaches related to plugged pipes,” city officials said in a press release.
