Gladstone competes in High School Bowl

The Gladstone Braves played the L’Anse Purple Hornets in the first round of High School Bowl and won by a score of 220-50. Forty schools from the Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin field teams for WNMU-TV’s High School Bowl tournament, now celebrating 42 years on the air. Gladstone will advance to the second round when they play Cedarville in Game 31, scheduled to air on Saturday, Feb. 29. Representing Gladstone, seated from left, are players Franklin Thibault, team captain Sam Jensen, Isaac Berthaume and Mackenzie Parish. Standing is alternate Andie Belanger, coach Ryan Barron, and alternate Calvin Thibault.
