The Gladstone Braves played the L’Anse Purple Hornets in the first round of High School Bowl and won by a score of 220-50. Forty schools from the Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin field teams for WNMU-TV’s High School Bowl tournament, now celebrating 42 years on the air. Gladstone will advance to the second round when they play Cedarville in Game 31, scheduled to air on Saturday, Feb. 29.
