Strike for Hunger campaign successful

The United Steel Workers Local 2-21 Escanaba Papermakers Women of Steel (WOS) ran a 2019 Strike for Hunger campaign. Through donations from the membership, monetary and food donations were given to Escanaba’s St. Vincent de Paul and Salvation Army food pantries in the amount of $6,725.51. The WOS collected $10,153.28 in monetary donations and 1.89 tons of food that is shared with Gladstone.
