WELLS TOWNSHIP — A purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked at the Terrace Bay Hotel Saturday night, according to the Delta County Sheriff’s Office.

The victim said she had arrived at the Terrace at about 9:10 p.m. and realized her purse had been stolen at about 11:45 p.m. She also said that she had put the purse under the passenger seat and forgot to lock the vehicle, that the vehicle’s dome light had been left on, that she had checked the area around the vehicle in case the purse had been left behind, and that she believed her house keys and cash were in her other purse.

Items reported as stolen included a light pink purse valued at $25, keys valued at $25, prescription sunglasses valued at $100, and jewelry valued at $150.
