St. Vincent de Paul plans open house
ESCANABA — The Escanaba Society of St. Vincent de Paul will hold an open house at its recycling center and warehouse at 815 1st Ave., N. on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Tours of the facilities which includes the pantry, soup kitchen, financial needs office and care-free dental clinic will take place at the top of each hour. Items that can be recycled will be on display.
Members of the Society will serve sloppy joe’s, chips, homemade cookies and bars, as well as warm aromic apple cider and hot coffee.
