Package stolen from front porch
ESCANABA — A package was reported stolen from a front porch on the 500 block of 20th Street in Escanaba recently.
Escanaba Public Safety officers were called to the home for a larceny of a package at 2:17 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1.
The resident explained he knew the package had been delivered after receiving a confirmation email earlier that day.
The package contained a phone valued at $750. The complainant told police he knew the phone was activated because when he tried to calling it, the call went to voicemail.
