A PATH to Better Health Workshop offered

ESCANABA — Managing your health starts with taking care of yourself. A PATH workshop offers a hands-on opportunity to discover solutions that work with your life and your health concerns.

PATH is a six-week evidence based workshop for adults of all ages or the partner, spouse or caregiver of someone who has a chronic health problem or condition. It is led by trained leaders-many who have a chronic health condition themselves – and focuses on helping participants feel better, have more control, and do the things they want to do.

This free workshop will meet once a week on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the UPCAP office, 2501 14th Ave S., Escanaba – starting Nov. 1 and ending on Dec. 17. There is no cost to attend this workshop and all materials and a snack are provided.

Class sizes are limited and pre-registration is required. To register, call UPCAP by dialing 2-1-1 or register online at the website www.upcap.org/events . This program is being sponsored by UPCAP with support from the Lions Clubs of Michigan, a grant from the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan and community volunteers.
