ESCANABA — The following individuals were recently sentenced in Delta County Circuit Court in unrelated cases.

Mitchel James Melin, 32, of 1462 17th Road, Bark River, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit jails – furnishing contraband to prisoners and one count of jails – prisoner possessing contraband. He was sentenced to 12 months in jail and given credit for 130 days already served. He was ordered to pay $766 in fines and costs.

Alec Jeffrey VanEnkenvort, 27, of N15359 A-1 Road, Bark RIver, pleaded guilty to one count of witnesses – bribing/intimidating/interfering. He was sentenced to 12 months in jail. He was ordered to pay $258 in fines and costs.

Kelley Liane Hansen, 27, 1300 2nd Ave. N., Escanaba, pleaded guilty to one count of controlled substance – possession of meth/ecstasy. She was sentenced to 12 months in jail and given credit for 154 days already served. Hansen’s driver’s license will be suspended for 30 days and restricted for 150 days.

She was ordered to pay $698 in fines and costs.
