Woman sentenced in circuit court
ESCANABA — The following individual was recently sentenced in Delta County Circuit Court.
Melissa Ann Witchell, 32, of N15775 A-1 Road, Bark River, pleaded guilty to five counts of check – non-sufficient funds – three within 10 days. She was sentenced to four months in jail. She will be placed on probation for 18 months. Witchell was ordered to pay $3,430.66 in restitution and $1,360 in fines and costs.
