ESCANABA — The MDS Community Action Agency’s Weatherization Program. MDSCAA serves Menominee, Delta, Schoolcraft, Marquette and Alger counties. The weatherization program is seeking eligible clients to conduct weatherization services, including air sealing, insulation and checking heating systems. There is no cost to the client, and no reimbursement requirement. Income requirements start at $24,980 gross income annually for a single person (based on 200% of poverty established March 2019). Each additional person add $8,840 to the gross income level. If your home has been weatherized since September 1994, the program will not be able to re-visit the home until the standards change. Residents can call to check to see if their house has already been weatherized.
