Second Churchill class is Tuesday

ESCANABA — The second class of four on Winston Churchill will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tuesday in room 525 at Bay de Noc Community College (by the student center, near the cafeteria).

The first class was led by historian, lecturer and researcher Frank M. Lenz, PhD. The second class, entitled ALONE, will cover Churchill’s mature life including his pre World War II struggles: politics, economics, the rising military and totalitarian powers of Germany and Italy, isolation by the crown and attacks by media and critics.

A power point handout will be provided to all attendees. A prorated fee will be collected for new class members for the three remaining classes. The class is open to Bay Sages and other interested people.

The Bay Sages is an organization committed to lifelong learning opportunities for older adults and is affiliated with Bay College.
