Bay has new academic support coordinator

IRON MOUNTAIN — Bay College recently welcomed Amber Lundberg as the academic support coordinator at the West Campus in Iron Mountain. She will be supporting students through coordinating resources that enhance academic success. This includes tutoring, supplemental instruction, placement test preparation and study strategies. Best of all, these resources are free of charge to Bay College students.

Originally a native from Colorado, Lundberg loves the outdoors, especially the Rocky Mountains. Growing up, Lundberg’s family was heavily involved in organizations that built bridges between the community and education. When asked about what brought Lundberg to the area, “Dickinson County reminds me of my hometown. I’ve been blessed with an opportunity to help students succeed and grow in their community, and that’s why I choose to live here.”

Working in education is a passion of Lundberg’s and seeing the “light bulb” moment with students or hearing of their successes is what she enjoys most. “I am excited to learn more about the area and how I can help make the dreams of our students come true.”
