Sock hop for kids planned at YMCA
ESCANABA — Northern Lights YMCA’s Little Cupid Sock Hop will be held Friday, Feb. 16, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the YMCA gym for kids in grades kindergarten through third. There is a cost to attend. The events is an evening filled with dancing, contests, pizza, and fun. Children can bop, jump, and jam to the sounds of the disc jockey, while enjoying other fun games and activities.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to get kids out of the house in the winter, have a great time, and make new friends,” said Katey Huber, youth program coordinator.
