North Central Homecoming Week starts today

POWERS — Homecoming Week starts today for North Central Area Schools. This year’s theme is “Pixar Movies” with each class being assigned a different film to decorate the school’s hallways. The hallway decoration assignments are:
Seventh grade: “The Incredibles”
Eight Grade: “Finding Nemo”
Freshman: “The Good Dinosaur”
Sophomores: “Toy Story”
Juniors: “A Bug’s Life”
Seniors: “Monsters University”
The students will continue the fun with dress-up days. The days are:
Monday: Harry Potter/Star Wars
Tuesday: Beach/Blizzard
“Wednesday: Color Day (seventh: Yellow; eighth: Green; freshman: Blue; sophomores: Red; juniors: Black; seniors: White)
Thursday: Theme Day (dress like assigned “Pixar” movie)
Friday: Spirit Day
The Homecoming king and queen will be crowned on Friday prior to the football game beginning at approximately 5:30 p.m. CST. The game will be against the Carney-Nadeau Wolves. Homecoming week will conclude with a dance on Saturday evening from 7 to 11 p.m. in the North Central gym.
