Kenneth John Drake, 45, of 308 S. 19th St., Escanaba, pleaded guilty to one count of domestic violence; 93 days jail, credit for five days served, 63 days jail suspended; 12 months probation; $1,225 fines and costs.

John Edward Rohde, 52, of 314 S. 10th St., Apt. 2, Escanaba, pleaded no contest to one count of domestic violence, first offense; 61 days jail, credit for 61 days served; 12 months probation; $1,225 fines and costs.

LICENSE VIOLATIONS

Anthony Todd Boden, 51, of 10823 I Road, Cornell, pleaded guilty to allowing a suspended person to operate a motor vehicle and pleaded guilty to one count of controlled substance – use of marijuana; 21 days jail, credit for one day served; six months probation; $925 fines and costs.

Nicholas James Walechka, 24, of 1722 8th Ave. S., Escanaba, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace; 12 days jail, credit for one day served, 24 hours community service in lieu of jail; $600 fines and costs.

RETAIL FRAUD

Soysane Irene Sithamat, 26, Wilson, pleaded guilty to retail fraud, third degree; 15 days jail, credit for four days served, 60 hours community service in lieu of jail; 12 months probation; $1,375 fines and costs.

Cases sent to Delta County Circuit Court

ESCANABA – The following individuals were recently bound over from Delta County District Court to circuit court in unrelated cases.

Toni Lee LaPalme, 25, of 19 Pine Wood Dr., Gladstone, was bound over to circuit court on one count of controlled substance – possession of analogues, a two-year felony with a maximum fine of $2,000. The charge stems from a May 13, 2015 incident in Escanaba involving the drug Buprenorphine. LaPalme posted a $5,000 surety bond.

Raymond John Gardner, 52, of 4167 U.S. 2 & 41, Escanaba, was bound over to circuit court on one count of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, third offense, a five-year felony with a maximum fine of $5,000. The charge stems from a June 29, 2015 incident in Escanaba. Gardner posted a $5,000 surety bond.

Thomas Aker Dustin, 23, of 1112 Sheridan Road, Escanaba, was bound over to circuit court on the following controlled substance counts: possession of Methamphetamine/Ecstasy, a 10-year felony with a maximum fine of $15,000; possession of the analogue Alprazolam, a two-year felony with a maximum fine of $2,000; possession of less than 25 grams of cocaine, heroin or other narcotic containing a mixture of Amphetamine and Dextroamphetamine, a four-year felony with a maximum fine of $25,000; and possession of marijuana, a one-year misdemeanor with a maximum fine of $2,000. The charges stem from incidents on March 15, 2015 in Escanaba. Bond was set at $20,000 cash or surety.

Ronald Edward Jennings Jr., 60, of 4010 K Road, Bark River, was bound over to circuit court on the following controlled substance counts: possession of the analogues Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone Bitartrate, a two-year felony with a maximum fine of $2,000; and possession of the analogue Hydromorphone, a two-year felony with a maximum fine of $2,000. The charges stem from a May 16, 2015 incident in Escanaba. Jennings posted a $1,000 cash bond.

Alliyah Dione Edwards, 20, of 420 S. 15th St., Escanaba, was bound over to circuit court on one count of controlled substance – possession of the analogue Methylin, a two-year felony with a maximum fine of $2,000; and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated with an occupant less than 16 years old, a one-year misdemeanor with a maximum fine of $1,000. The charges stem from a June 19, 2015 incident in Escanaba. Edwards paid $500, or 10 percent of a $5,000 bond.

Defendants sentenced in circuit court

ESCANABA – The following individuals were recently sentenced in unrelated cases in Delta County Circuit Court in Escanaba.

Sandra Lynn Paulson, 44, of 303 S. 11th St., Apt. 3, Escanaba, pleaded guilty to one count of controlled substance – maintaining a drug vehicle. She was sentenced to three months in jail and given credit for 72 days already served. She was ordered to pay $110 restitution to the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team (UPSET) and pay $698 in fines and costs. Her driver license was suspended for 30 days and restricted for 150 days.

Jennifer Lynn Seymour, 43, of 1430 N. 23rd St., Escanaba, pleaded guilty to one count of controlled substance – delivery/manufacture of a schedule 4 drug. She was sentenced to three months in jail and given credit for two days already served. She was ordered to pay $70 restitution to UPSET and pay $768 in fines and costs. Her driver license was suspended for 30 days and restricted for 150 days.
