While many people compared the recent snow storm to one about 50 years ago, it is important to recognize the effort that goes into plowing and removing the piles of snow in the after math of the storm. I know some individuals that feel their personal situation took longer to remedy than they may have wanted, but the county and municipal workers really did an outstanding job, under very adverse conditions. The article stated that the kids' gym expected to gain an expansion when the neighboring Embers moved out; however, Embers Credit Union said that they are not moving out of the Penstar building -- they love the location and the neighbors. Embers continues to maintain its facility at the Penstar building, though it is for employees, not general members.
