PINE RIDGE — Dozens of Harley-Davidson motorcycles filled the parking lot of the Escanaba-area dealership on Saturday as the business celebrated its grand opening.

Bald Eagle Harley-Davidson, recently relocated from Marquette to 4473 U.S 2, opened to customers on March 20. Saturday’s event, which offered raffle opportunities and food and drink to attendees, was a hit.

A neighboring parking lot was assigned to those who dared to show up on four-wheeled vehicles. In front and along the side of the building, bikers parked Fat Boys, trikes, Street Glides, Low Riders and more. Customer-brought bikes outnumbered the ones for sale. One Vulcan was tucked far in the back.

Staff reported that about 300 people walked through the doors during the grand opening party, four motorcycles were sold, and retail sales were exceptionally high.

The local chapter of Stilettos on Steel — a club of women riders — as well as H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group) had tables at the event. Attendees had the opportunity to win raffle prizes, including a wooden bean bag toss set, pizza oven and more. The musical duo Carey and Chasey performed live on the porch.
