Chamber golf outing tees up June 4
Minding our own business
The Delta County Chamber’s annual golf outing is set for June 4 at the Escanaba Country Club.
If you’ve ever wished you could mix a little business with a lot of fresh air, the Delta County Chamber’s annual Golf Outing is your kind of day.
Set for June 4 at the Escanaba Country Club, this long-standing event (now in its 33rd year!) brings together business professionals from across the community for a relaxed, fun, and surprisingly productive day on the course. Sponsored by Engineered Machine Products, the outing is all about making connections but without the meeting room.
We hear repeatedly that people do business with people they know. And there’s no easier way to get to know someone than spending a few hours together on the links. Whether you’re chatting between shots or sharing a laugh at a sponsored hole, those casual conversations often turn into real opportunities for new customers, referrals, and partnerships.
That’s what makes this event such a favorite among Chamber members. It’s networking, but without the pressure. Just a great day outside, good company, and plenty of chances to connect.
There are plenty of ways to get involved, too. Businesses can boost their visibility through hole sponsorships, which are an easy and effective way to get your name in front of fellow members. Each stop along the course features something a little different, from games to food and beverages, all hosted by local businesses.
Not a golfer? No problem. You can still be part of the action by donating prizes, sponsoring food and beverages, or volunteering during the event. It’s a great way to stay visible and engaged without ever picking up a club.
And if you are golfing, come ready ~ not just with your swing, but with your business cards and your best smile. You never know who you’ll meet.
So, grab your team, mark your calendar, and plan to spend June 4 where business and fun meet….right on the fairway.
