Delta County Chamber updates website, highlights upcoming construction

Minding our own business

The Delta County Chamber of Commerce has created helpful resources for community members with questions regarding the upcoming North Lincoln Road reconstruction project.

New Chamber Webpages Offer Updates on Road Project, Local Properties

If you’ve heard talk about the upcoming North Lincoln Road reconstruction project and found yourself wondering, “What exactly is happening and when?”… you’re not alone.

The good news is that construction hasn’t started yet. The project will roll out in phases beginning this summer, which means there’s still time to get informed, plan ahead and support the businesses along the corridor before things get a little more… interesting.

At the Chamber, we’ve been fielding lots of questions. So instead of answering them one at a time, we created a couple of simple, helpful online resources you can access anytime.

First: a dedicated North Lincoln Road reconstruction page

This will be your go-to spot for updates as the project gets underway. We’re working closely with the local office of the Michigan Department of Transportation to make sure accurate, up-to-date information is easy to find. We’ll also be partnering with them to host a public information forum so residents, businesses, and commuters can hear directly from the source. Watch for details on that coming soon.

In the meantime, this page will share timelines, phase details, and what to expect before and during construction, helping take some of the guesswork out of it for everyone, especially the businesses along that stretch.

Second: a page focused on available commercial properties

Because while we’re talking about road construction, we’re also thinking about the bigger picture of growth and opportunity. ZoomProspector by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation makes it easy to explore spaces for new businesses, expansions, or future investments right here in our community. Property owners, with help from the Chamber, can also list available spaces.

Just as importantly, this tool works hand-in-hand with local real estate professionals connecting prospects with local agents and brokers, so opportunities turn into real conversations and local expertise stays front and center.

Why does that matter? Because having accurate, accessible property information helps us tell a stronger story about our region and stay competitive when opportunities come along.

And that’s really the point of both pages.

Yes, construction is coming. But so is opportunity to support local businesses, stay informed, and think ahead about what’s next for our community.

You can find both pages now at deltami.org. Take a few minutes to explore, get familiar with what’s coming, and maybe even discover a new opportunity along the way.

Starting at $3.50/week.
