The Delta County Chamber of Commerce board of directors and staff extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made Thursday’s Golf Outing, presented by EMP, a tremendous success. From the first swing to the last putt, it was a beautiful Chamber of Commerce Day filled with great conversation, laughter, and the kind of networking that helps our business community thrive. We are especially grateful to our generous sponsors–your support makes events like this possible. Whether you sponsored a hole event, donated a prize, or helped underwrite part of the day, your contribution directly impacts the continued success of the Chamber and our mission to support local economic and community development. Events like our golf outing are more than just a fun day on the course–they play an important role in the growth and development of our business community. In a relaxed and engaging setting, golfers and sponsors have the chance to make new connections and strengthen existing partnerships. “Conversations that begin on the fairway can lead to ideas, referrals, and projects that benefit everyone involved,” said returning golfer Ed Legault, executive director of the Delta County Economic Development Alliance. “Golfing with the Chamber is the perfect way to enjoy some sunshine, share a few laughs, and build local connections that really matter.” Opportunities to connect outside the traditional office setting allow relationships to grow in meaningful ways. Whether a returning golfer or teeing off with us for the first time, we hope you agree that events like this help build the trust and familiarity that lead to lasting success. A special thank you to the Escanaba Country Club Director of Golf, Jeff Rae, for managing the day’s play and ensuring that everything ran smoothly. We also deeply appreciate Steve Benoit, Merry Dufresne and the crew at Mulligans for providing delicious food and spirits that kept everyone well fed and energized throughout the event. Thank you again to all who participated and contributed. We look forward to seeing you at future Chamber events as we continue to support one another and grow our local economy–together.
